2023-24 CLASSROOM PROJECT Program

Hayward Education Foundation began accepting applications for its 2023-2024 Classroom Projects Program starting November 1, 2023.
Awards up to $1,000 are available to individual teachers for innovative classroom projects and activities which support, enrich, and strengthen the educational experiences of students as well as promote life-long learning. All teachers who are employed at schools in Hayward (Public, Private, Charter, etc.) are eligible and encouraged to submit a classroom project for funding. Applications as reviewed and decided upon as they come in.
The application and instructions are available ONLINE only.
For the 2022-2023 year, with the support and generosity of our Sponsors and Donors, we were able to fund 60 classroom projects, distributing $51,135 into Hayward classrooms. Click here to see the funded projects.
