Michael Pelland, Mt. Eden High School

Incorporating Linkbot-L robots to complete challenges from previous C-STEM Day Challenges. Students will learn how to program the robots in the C programming language, working together as a team to solve complex problems and various tasks. They will need to use various mathematical knowledge to help them complete the assigned tasks.

Jacqueline LaFitte, Cherryland Elementary

Introduce students to the life and work of artists and Native Americans through stories, demonstrations, and hands-on art lessons. Visiting artists from the Junior Center of Art and Science and Docents from the University of California Botanical Gardens will lead these in-class, hands-on workshops.

Using drones to introduce students to FAA Drone Operation Limitations, and to reinforcing math and science curriculum as we calculate speeds, measure distances (standard & metric), and explore the applications of physics all as we gain experience in a cutting edge career pathway.
